Sorry, that " $12 per person person" really should have been "$12 per person per day". Personal preferences and desire for simplicity will always factor in. My choice has been to simply go with standard Always Included and just upgrade the drink package. The days in parentheses are valid if Captain's Club discounts are included.

If Wi-Fi and drink upgrades are wanted, Indulge is good for cruises 14 (10) days and under.

If Wi-Fi upgrade is not needed but drink upgrade is needed, Elevate may be good for cruises 10 (7) days and under. In general, if Wi-Fi upgrade is not needed, Indulge is not a good investment. My personal opinion on upgrading to Indulge or Elevate are: If you need multiple devices, you can log out on one, then log in on another and still get by with a single device package.

Some tiers get free minutes of streaming access. Captain's Club discounts may apply here, too. You can upgrade to Stream for $20 per person per day, although I think this is for a single device. For me and checking email, the standard Surf package is good enough. Wi-fi is a different story and I hope others will weigh in. Menus with prices can be found in these threads if you search for them. You can also just go with the classic package and pay the difference (plus gratuity) per drink if it costs more than the package allows. You can upgrade just the drink package from Classic (provided in All Included) for $12 per person person, with a small (5-10%) Captain's Club discount possible once inside final payment. My wife enjoys the better wines and does not want to be concerned about price, so she finds the Premium Beverage Package to be a good value just for the simplicity. Hand sanitizer stations can be found throughout the ships. The drink package differences are shown here:

Spas and gyms remain open, but some cruise lines limit them to vaccinated guests. You won’t be required to assemble at a designated spot on the ship to hear the pre-departure safety instruction, also known as the “safety muster drill.” Instead, passengers can watch parts of the safety drill on their stateroom televisions or on a cruise ship app. On Celebrity Cruises, reservations can be made on the Celebrity Cruises App. On Princess Cruises, reservations can be made through the MedallionClass app. To manage capacity and physical distancing, many onboard restaurants recommend reservations and will limit groups at dining tables to eight. Will I need to make reservations for dining and other onboard activities? Physical distancing is encouraged for all activities. On some ships, passengers won’t be allowed to try on clothing for sale. Indoor dancing, karaoke and nightclubs are no longer allowed on many ships, including the Majestic Princess, which converted its karaoke area into extra room for spa treatments. Most self-serve buffets have been modified so that employees serve passengers to avoid unnecessary crowding. You won’t be lining up at the buffet for meals. Have any activities been eliminated because of COVID-19? What are cruise lines requiring of passengers? How have boarding, dining and other activities on board changed? We gathered some information to answer common questions. Some 200 cruises are scheduled to depart from there in 2022, up from 120 in 2019. The Majestic Princess, a ship designed to serve the Chinese market, made its maiden call from the Port of L.A. Royal Caribbean cruises for 2022 are nearly at 2019 levels, the company’s chief financial officer, Jason Liberty, said on a recent earnings call.ĭespite the shutdown, the world’s cruise lines have more than 100 new ships on order to set sail by 2027.
